Yawa Aquatic Centre update Feb/Mar 2021

A few weeks ago Yawa Aquatic Centre Facility Manager Daniel Andrews checked out the project site.

We were lucky to enough to tag along with him so we could share a sneak peek 👀

What feature are you most excited to use? Keep your eyes peeled for the kids’ aqua play equipment – we can’t wait to hear lots of laughter and splashing filling the air!

You can still snap up a foundation membership with $0 joining fee – but be quick, they’re nearly sold out!

Smart Parking

The shire is trialing a new smart parking approach to reduce congestion in and around Mornington.
Around 100 in-ground sensors were installed throughout Mornington in late December and are being trialled for six months.
The sensors are located at Main Street (between Barkly Street and the Eastern Ring Road) and side streets: Queen Street, Vancouver Street, Barkly Street and Cromwell Street.
As you drive into Mornington along Main Street, an electronic sign shows how many parking spaces are available on Main Street (between Barkly Street and the Eastern Ring Road).
See the map and read the FAQs on our website
